I. Credit report inquiry channels
(i) Offline channels
◎ Inquiry at counter: Inquiry at counter is provided at more than 2,100 inquiry points of the PBC branches.
◎ Self-service inquiry machine: More than 7,000 self-service inquiry machines are provided at the inquiry points of the PBC branches and some commercial bank outlets.
◎ ATM: Inquiry through ATM is provided at pilot branches of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, China Construction Bank and China Merchants Bank.
(ii) Online channels

◎ Log in CCRC’s official website: www.pbccrc.org.cn, and enter the Online Consumer Credit Report Service Platform.

◎ The address of “No.298 Fanchang Road, Pudong New Area, Shanghai” shown on the official website of CCRC is not a credit report inquiry point, and is not open to the public at present.
◎ CCRC currently authorizes online banking and mobile banking APPs of national commercial banks, China UnionPay QuickPass App, and ATMs of commercial banks to provide credit report inquiry services. Inquiry channels that are not authorized by CCRC are illegal, and there is a risk of information leakage.
◎ The progress of inquiry channels and coverage areas of ATMs in pilot bank branches are different. For details, please call the official customer service hotline of CCRC: 4008108866; or call the customer service hotline of pilot commercial banks.
II. Credit report inquiry processes
(i) Inquiry process for consumer credit report (inquiry at counter)

According to the Procedures for Inquiry about Consumer Credit Report in the Basic Financial Credit Information Database (Yin Zheng Xin Zhong Xin [2013] No.97):
An individual can inquire about his/her own consumer credit report in person or by proxy.
◎ Inquire in person
To inquire his/her own credit report at an inquiry point, an individual is required to provide the original of his/her personal valid ID documents for verification and the duplicate for inspection, and fill in the Application Form for Personal Inquiry about Consumer Credit Report.
The above-said valid ID documents include ID card (both sides of the second-generation ID card shall be copied), military officer ID card, solider ID card, passport, Mainland travel permit for Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan residents and alien residence permit.
◎ Inquire by proxy
If an individual asks another person to inquire his/her credit report at an inquiry point, the agent shall provide the originals and the duplicates of valid ID documents of both the principal and the agent as well as the notarial powers of attorney. Besides, the agent shall fill in the Application Form for Personal Inquiry about Consumer Credit Report.

(ii) Inquiry process for enterprise credit report (inquiry at counter)

According to the Procedures for Inquiry about Enterprise Credit Report in the Basic Financial Credit Information Database (Yin Zheng Xin Zhong Xin [2019] No.45):
The legal representative of an enterprise may inquire the enterprise credit report of the enterprise, either in person or by entrusting an agent for inquiry.
◎ Inquire by the legal representative
To inquire enterprise credit report at local PBC branch inquiry points, the legal representative of the enterprise is required to provide the originals of his/her personal valid ID document and the enterprise’s valid certificates for verification, and to fill in the Application Form for Inquiry about Enterprise Credit Report. The duplicates of the representative’s valid ID document and the enterprise’s valid certificates shall be stamped with the official seal and filed for inspection.
Enterprise’s valid certificates include business license, legal person certificate of public institution, legal person certificate of social organization and other legal certificates issued by the registration administration department.
◎ Inquire by proxy
If the legal representative asks another person to inquire the enterprise’s enterprise credit report at local PBC branch inquiry points, the agent shall provide the originals of his/her personal valid ID document, the enterprise’s valid certificates and the Power of Attorney of the Enterprise’s Legal Representative. Besides, the agent shall also fill in the Application Form for Inquiry about Enterprise Credit Report. The duplicates of the agent’s valid ID documents and the enterprise’s valid certificates shall be stamped with official seal and filed. The original of the Power of Attorney shall be signed by the legal representative and stamped with official seal and filed for inspection.
